// Free music. Spotify.
POSTED: 10/05/10 12:45 AM

Ok, The Album is coming off Spotify tomorrow so no more freeloading. Its weird that people expect music for free. People don’t want to buy records and everyone wants to be on guestlists for gigs …. How are musicians meant to make money? Music won’t be made and gigs won’t be played if musicians can’t afford to make it. Recordings aren’t cheap. More than £10,000 has been spent on my album. The only way I can afford to record another one is to sell copies of the first album and to make money at shows. Thanks to everyone who has…

// Mastering the album
POSTED: 20/02/10 6:37 PM

Yesterday I had the album mastered at Masterworks West London.. If you don’t know what mastering is, its the final part of the recording process where you set the levels, EQs and decide the gaps between songs. So the tracklisting has been decided, the front cover has been designed, Now all I need to do is finish what goes inside the booklet then it will be pressed and ready to share with the world.

Here’s a couple of pics from the session …..
